Rule 13
Provision of Liaison Officer

(1) If the Ministry deems it necessary, it may appoint a civil servant as a Liaison Officer.
(2) The concerned manufacturer shall provide the following facilities to the Liaison Officer appointed as per sub-rule (1):-

(a) Food, lodging and transportation facilities,
(b) Provision of weather-related clothing, tools and medicine required for filming in the Himalayan region,
(c) provision of periodic life insurance of at least three lakh rupees, and
(d) Daily and visiting allowances to be received as per prevailing rules.
(3) In case the Liaison Officer is disabled due to an accident while visiting the producer, the producer shall pay the entire cost of treatment and compensation up to two lakh rupees according to the nature of the disability to the Liaison Officer. If assistance is requested from an organization, it will be the duty of such agency or organization to provide necessary assistance.
